Summary
Wells Mountain Initiative (WMI) fosters social change at the local level by building a global network of grassroots leaders catalyzing community transformation across 47 developing countries. We support young people who have proved to be unstoppable in the face of adversity and are deeply committed to lead change in their community. We fund their undergraduate studies in high-need sectors, help them lead social service projects during their academic career, and stand alongside them to address any challenges to complete their studies.
Benefit - USD300 to USD3000 annually
Eligibility - Completed secondary education, with good to excellent grades - Is 35 or under on March 1, 2022 - Will be studying in their country or another country in the developing world* - Is pursuing their first bachelor’s degree or diploma - Will be enrolled in a program of study that will benefit the community and/or contributes to the continued growth and advancement of their home country - Plans to live and work in their own country after graduation - Has demonstrated their commitment to giving back and has volunteered before applying - May have some other funds available for their education but will not pursue their tertiary degree without financial assistance.
