Brief Description
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program (MCFSP) targets academically talented yet economically disadvantaged young people in Africa who will contribute to the transformation of the continent through their knowledge, skills, attitudes and values evidenced by their leadership.

Eligibility
You are eligible if you:
Are an African citizen
Come from an economically disadvantaged background and demonstrate financial neediness.
Demonstrate leadership potential and ought to be involved in a giving back project e.g. in a community, at school, church etc
Demonstrate academic excellence
Acceptance into a postgraduate master’s program in the following faculties:
Natural and Agricultural Sciences, Economic and Management Sciences and Humanities for entry into the Political Studies or International Studies programs only.
