The Emerging Global Leader Scholarship promotes educational access and diversity worldwide by fully sponsoring one overseas student’s undergraduate studies at American University per year. Eligibility:
If the recipient maintains a sufficient GPA throughout their undergraduate studies, the award is renewable once a year for a maximum of four years. International students are welcome to apply for any major that AU offers. But bear in mind that there are particular requirements for eligibility:
Applicants must need a non-immigrant visa (preferably an F-1 or J-1 student visa) to study in the U.S.
Applicants should not be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or already enrolled in post-secondary studies in their home country or the U.S.
Eligible students must have graduated from secondary school by June 2024 or later.
