The Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute is a privately endowed research unit embedded within Texas A&M University-Kingsville. The Institute has provided science-based information for enhancing the conservation and management of Texas wildlife and rangelands for over 40 years.
The Institute has an award-winning team of ~30 faculty and research staff who work with ~55 M.S. and Ph.D. students to conduct innovative and applied research in partnership with private landowners, state and federal agencies, and non-government organizations.
Benefits:
The Texas A&M University Scholarships offer;
$2,200/month plus benefits (medical package available after completion of waiting period) and nonresident tuition waived (resident tuition fees apply but will be reimbursed to ensure a full tuition waiver)
(medical package has a 60-day waiting period). Nonresident tuition waived (resident tuition fees apply). Partial resident tuition fee assistance may be provided based on availability of funds.
Eligibilities
To be considered for the Texas A&M University Graduate Scholarship, you must:
Have a bachelors/masters degree in a relevant field (depending on the available position)
Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Familiarity with programming or coding (R, Python, etc.)
Familiarity with statistical analysis of data from wildlife populations
Excellent written and personal communication skills
have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
