The Austrian Development Cooperation Scholarship 2023

Summary


Strathclyde Business School are offering ten full fee scholarships for outstanding students seeking to join our PhD programme in session 2022/23. Candidates must have an excellent academic track record with appropriate external recognition and be able to demonstrate commitment to their chosen field of study. Applications are welcome in all of their  subject areas but they particularly welcome applicants interested in any of their areas of research expertise.

This is a competitive process; applications will be shortlisted, and candidates may be called to an interview.

Candidates must be able to commence their studies between October 2022 and January 2023


Benefits:

  • Scholarship for ADC´s priority countries includes accommodation, flight cost, health insurance, meals from Monday – Sunday, and pocket money of approx. € 205 per month, Tuition fee.

  • Scholarship for developing countries includes Tuition fees, health insurance, meals from Monday – Friday, and pocket money of approx. € 205 per month.

Eligibility:

  • There is an age limit of 35 years for eligibility.

  • Late applications will not be processed.

  • Accommodation costs have to be covered by students who are awarded this scholarship.

  • Students with this scholarship have to cover their own travel expenses from their countries to Salzburg and back.

  • The visa fee has to be paid by the applicants. The fee for the 8-month residence permit is €160.
