The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Young Leaders Training Program



Summary

The Young Leaders Training Program is a program that aims to strengthen the political participation of young men and women engaged in civil society, trade unions and political parties in Cameroon and to promote the values of social democracy, including freedom, justice and solidarity. Since 2012, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung has been training young people and committed people in Yaoundé. First as a regional program and since 2018 with a focus on Cameroonian participants. We are looking for 25 young women and men who will participate in 2-day training (Thursday to Friday) at the end of each month from March to October with 8 sessions. During this period, we will address various topics related to the values of political leadership, communication and operational management tools, in person or via Zoom.   • Be between 18 and 35 years old when applying

  • Reside in Cameroon

  • Be available to participate in all program sessions

  • Hold a university degree or be in the process of obtaining a first degree at the time of application

  • Be politically active

  • Be involved in a project or initiative and/or active in civil society, a political party or a union
