University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship 2026 | Fully Funded

Summary:

The University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship offers almost all academic fields and majors available at UBD, including Islamic Studies, Business, Arts, Science, Health Sciences, Asian Studies, Policy Studies, Education, Biodiversity, and Integrated Technologies.

This scholarship will cover all the expenses to study Undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs.

The UBD Graduate Research Scholarship (UGRS) is a fully funded scholarship for international students. UBD is committed to offering quality degree programs that will open access to job options throughout the world. 

Benefits:

Waived Tuition Fees

• A Subsistence Allowance of BND 2200.00 Per Month for 36 months.

• On-campus Accommodation for 36 months.

• One round-trip Economy Class Air Ticket will be provided from their home country upon accepting the scholarship and to their home country upon completion of their studies.

• Allowances for Field Research (BND 1000.00 for Arts and Humanities, and BND 2000.00 for Science candidates).

Eligibilities:

To be considered for the Universiti Brunei Darussalam Graduate Scholarships, applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

• not be older than 30 years of age at the time of the application (exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis)

• hold a Master's Degree* and at least an Upper Second Degree in a relevant field from an internationally recognised top university, or

• hold a First Class Degree* in a relevant field from an internationally recognised top university

• be able to fulfill UBD’s admission requirement (including English proficiency)

• submit a high-quality and impactful research proposal
