WIPO Academy Scholarship 2025 For Africans (World Intellectual Property Forum) | Fully Funded



Summary

In conjunction with the governments of its member countries, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) offers full scholarships to students interested in pursuing Master’s degrees at the organization.


This Master’s Degree is offered jointly with the WIPO Academy, the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO), and Africa University (Mutare, Zimbabwe), with financial assistance from the Government of Japan.


All courses incorporate the theoretical and doctrinal foundations of the legal regime as well as the practical aspects of the particular areas of law.


The WIPO Academy is the center of excellence for intellectual property (IP) education, training and skills-building for WIPO member states, in particular developing countries, least-developed countries (LDCs) and countries in transition.


Benefits:

Varying from program to program, the WIPO Academy Scholarships are awarded to cover;

  • travel costs

  • tuition fees

  • accommodation

  • subsistence allowance

  • medical insurance


Eligibilities

To be considered for the World Intellectual Property Forum Scholarship, you must:

  • Be nationals of an African country;

  • Hold at least a Bachelor (second lower class) degree from a recognized university in any discipline; and

  • Be fluent in English.

  • A pass in DL 101 (WIPO free course)documentation.
